A Helpful Way to Express Myself
I have always loved painting casually to express myself, and believe watercolor to be the most beautiful of all traditional art styles.
During the pandemic, however, painting took on more importance for me. Painting every day became a sort of coping method as I was self-isolating in my own apartment. During 2020, I painted 50 illustrations, many of them commissions or purchased for private collections. I found that painting allowed my brain to shut down for a few hours every day, a much needed relief from the constant onslaught of dire news.
My work revolves around landscapes, cityscapes, dogs, and Adirondack views.
